In-Ground Fountain Installation Demonstration

Enjoy the sound of water in your garden with an in-ground fountain.  We will be installing a classic in-ground fountain in the front of the store.  See how easy it is to have the soothing sound of trickling water in your yard making it the focal point of any setting.  Made of glass fiber reinforced concrete, this fountain has all the natural beauty of concrete with the added durability and light weight of fiberglass.

Dog Days of Summer

Come and celebrate the Dog Days of Summer with us at Knupper’s.  This hot and sultry time of year is no reason to be a lazy dog, get out and have some fun with us and bring your 4-legged friend too!

We have many fun events planned for Dog Days this year.  For a donation, the Buddy Foundation will be giving dog washes and Jimminy Clippers will be cutting your dog’s nails.  All donations will benefit the Buddy Foundation of Arlington Heights.  The Buddy Foundation, Sav-A-Pet, and Orphans of the Storm will all have dogs available for adoption.  Kriser’s will be here with all natural treats, and an animal communicator will be available by appointment to help you talk to your dog.

One of the best things about this event is that you can bring in your dog (on a leash please), and he’s your coupon. You will receive 20% off your entire purchase that day!

11:00 am Dog Parade:   Dress your dog up for a parade through the nursery.  There will be lots of dog prizes!  Prizes will be awarded for the best costume, oldest, youngest, biggest, smallest, and best attitude!

11:00 am - 3:00 pm Dog Wash & Grooming:  Jimminy Clippers will be here washing dogs and clipping nails.  A donation is requested for each sudsy bath and towel dry.  All proceeds will be going to the Buddy Foundation of Arlington Heights.

11:00 am - 3:00 pm Talk to Your Dog: Animal communicator Pam Sourelis will be here doing 20 minute readings.  Cost is $35.  Pam will accept cash or debit/credit card at the time of the appointment.  Please call Knupper’s to reserve a time.  There are only 10 spots, so call soon!  To learn more about Pam and her work, visit

11:30 am Dog Training Demonstration:   Come watch a dog training demonstration by animal behaviorist, and professional dog trainer Dennis Hill from Dog Sense.  Dennis is the author of ‘One Day at a Time’ as seen on PBS! To learn more about Dennis, visit
